We’re committed to all aspects of children’s development and wellness—because their cognitive growth and educational success are as significant as their social-emotional development, which is greatly enhanced by a strong sense of community. Especially in times of uncertainty, we provide stability, routine, and peace of mind. It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to keep kids safe, healthy, and learning.

Centers Offer Strong Starts

An article by Jill Anderson in Harvard Ed. Magazine summarized the findings of research by a team of experts from the University of California, Berkeley, Abt Associates, Harvard University, and the University of Pittsburgh and found the answer to whether improved access to center-based preschool is effective was a resounding Yes.

“These results suggest that getting kids into center-based care is a good idea,” says Harvard’s Miratrix, one of the study’s primary researchers.

Broad Access to Education and Nutrition

We serve a broad spectrum of families and communities through our numerous school locations across the U.S. Our diversified portfolio of brands serves multiple demographics and geographies, utilizing different educational approaches. We can address the critical needs of working parents and underserved children for access to high-quality early childhood services.

All families, everywhere, should have child care options. We aspire to be a provider of choice for public Pre-Kindergarten. Therefore, we work diligently day in and day out to advance the cause of preparing every child for school—and the future.

Because every child counts

Learning Care partners with agencies in 15 states to provide state and federally funded Pre-K, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs for more than 4,100 children per week.
On a weekly basis, federal funding enables us to support 30,000+ children through the Child Care Development Block Grant program and 1000s of families who are active military members, DoD civilian employees, and some National Guard members.
We serve approximately 21 million meals annually through the federal food program to children who may not have access to the same level of quality nutritional food at home.

Collaborating with policymakers

Additionally, Learning Care actively works with Congress, governors, and state legislatures to expand programs that help families afford reliable, consistent care for their children.

Learning Care also collaborates with elected leaders on expanding child care tuition subsidies to support working families in need of assistance; developing tax credits to help families and employers with care expenses; and partnering with states to offer high-quality public Pre-K through community-based centers.
